Anne Miltenburg
Brand Director
Nairobi, Kenya
Anne Miltenburg (the Netherlands/Kenya) is a freelance Brand Director, writer and teacher. She has dedicated her career to leveraging the power of 'brand' to create social and environmental change. She specializes in tech for good brands in Africa from her home base in Kenya where she’s lived since 2015.
Currently, she leads the brand-building efforts at MESH, a professional social network for African gen-z micro-entrepreneurs. Conventional business networking and skills building are boring, the MESH brand team makes it sexy and snacky, so MESHERS come back for more.
Besides her work at MESH, Anne is the founder of BrandTheChange.org, a learning organization that trains social entrepreneurs to build stronger brands, and the author of Brand The Change, a guidebook to building brands with positive social and environmental impact.
