In-house team Est. 2006
Creative Team
MOO helps businesses look their best – so we have to look, sound and feel our best, too. And although we make a lot of paper products, as a team we try to avoid making “wallpaper”. We want to grab attention and help people understand what MOO is about. We work and collaborate (we’re a friendly bunch) with other teams to create a wide variety of projects – from brand guidelines and product launches to social campaigns, emails, direct mail and more.

On working in-house…
Benefits
Long term thinking: You can focus on pushing areas forward gradually and realistically. 1% better each week makes a huge difference by the end of the year.Top level access: Being in-house gives you access to the real decision makers. That great idea or business changing thought is always just a Slack or corridor conversation away from being bought. Trial and error: Not everything will be a success and that’s okay. But that’s much easier to say when you can jump straight back into a new thing vs an agency who’ll be back working on another account – and might not get another chance to prove themselves.
Challenges
Fatigue: The thrill of agency life is in large part because no two days are the same. A new account comes in. There’s a new sector to learn about, new tones of voice and brands to jump into. So the challenge is to bring that same sense of opportunity to each new MOO brief.
On working with…
Others
We have weekly catch ups with the social and email teams, and work with everyone from UX to HR to the CEO. Although we’ve grown, and we’re Zooming more these days, it still feels like a little village.
Guidelines
To create a consistent look and feel, we have guidelines for colour, fonts, photography and copy. Of course, as a brand and businesses we’re evolving, so it’s about making sure those guidelines continue to serve us well.
