Hotels

In general we have never procured room blocks for our conference as none of our venues over the years have been affiliated with a hotel but we are often able to secure some modest discounts with hotels nearby. Unfortunately this year, same as last, there are no discounts to offer. Demand for rooms in Chicago is high and hotels are still understaffed while also trying to make up for two years of lackluster business so they have no incentive to offer any kind of discounts.

In terms of recommendations, any hotel in the Loop, Magnificent Mile, or Near West Side will put you within striking distance of the venue but, in Chicago, if you are near a train stop you can easily get to the venue, so the North and South sides are good to find more affordable Airbnb spots.
