Volunteers
We happily welcome volunteers to help us during the two days of the conference and the day prior to set up.
To apply please fill in this form after reading the expectations and benefits below. The process is first come first serve, and we will be in touch via email confirming your spot.
Goal
We would like to have between 25 and 30 volunteers.
Workdays
Wednesday, October 22
8:00 am — 5:00 pm
Thursday, October 23
7:00 am – 7:00 pm
Friday, October 24
7:30 am – 7:00 pm
Hours subject to change
Volunteers who can participate all 3 days will be given priority for signing up.
Responsibilities for Wednesday
- Unload the moving truck and organize boxes
- Stuff tote bags
- Hand assembly of programs and/or badges
- Overall organization of space
- Gallery set-up
- FanZone build and set-up
Responsibilities for Thursday + Friday
(We will pre-assign these based on a second more detailed Google form.)
- Handle registration
- Organize and hand-out t-shirts, tote-bags, and name badges
- Provide assistance to guests as needed
- Help manage interactive infographics, games, photo booth, etc
- Keep all areas clean and picked up
- Be cheerful and proactive
- Re-packing the galleries and FanZone on Friday after lunch
- Overall help with anything and everything
Responsibilities for the after-party
- Have fun

- We rotate everyone's duties so that you can watch half of the conference live in the theater based on your pre-selections

Expenses
We do not cover any travel or lodging expenses. We do cover lunch, parking, and the most snacks all three days.
