Born the son of a lawyer and a music teacher in small town TN, Jeff is a product of creativity and logic. Jeff joined the ad world as an account executive after earning a degree in business from the University of Tennessee. After five years of brand management and strategy experience (and earning his MBA somewhere along the line), he headed to NYC where he graduated from Parson's School of Design and worked with smaller design-focused practices.

Drawing from these experiences, with a desire to take on more brand identity focused design projects and one patiently supportive girl back home, Jeff returned to Tennessee, got married and opened the doors of Perky Bros in 2009.

Since, Perky Bros has gained experience working on projects ranging from identity, packaging and web design — plus every odd or end in between. No matter the brief, they strive to offer solutions that are built on plain-spoken, ambitious ideas — with a heavy emphasis on typography and execution.

In a short amount of time, Perky Bros's practice has evolved almost exclusively to brand identity design. Their work has gained a reputation for being highly crafted and thoughtful. Jeff's work has been featured in books, blogs and publications worldwide.
