Robyn Kanner is a creative director focused on urgent, impactful, and deeply human projects.
After a handful of years in tech, Robyn was inspired to move forward and make work that could do good in the world. A heartfelt experience designing Beto O’Rourke’s presidential campaign turned into becoming the creative director for Joe Biden. She led Biden-Harris ’20 on merch, ads, social, web, planes, trains, buses, and stadium design. She even made the logo. When President Biden won, she did much of the same for the inauguration, leading multiple efforts, including creative directing the digital experience.
That’s when Robyn started her own studio. Clients included Spotify, Showtime, and Governor Josh Shapiro. She was responsible for the first major brand refresh of the DNC since President Obama took office over a decade ago. Within 18 months her studio was acquired by Studio Mosaic, where she continues to lead on similar clients, including the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard Law School, Lambda Legal, AFL-CIO, and of course, Biden-Harris ’24. And she teaches on the side, a visiting professor at Cooper Union.
