Despite this func­tion, the book is also con­ceived as an inde­pen­dent pub­li­ca­tion for any­one who wants to get insight in the his­tor­i­cal and cul­tur­al evo­lu­tion of the con­tro­ver­sial phe­nom­e­non that smok­ing is.

APPROACH

The pur­pose of this book is to get bet­ter insight into the his­tor­i­cal and cul­tur­al evo­lu­tion of smok­ing. The book has an imi­ta­tion cig­a­rette on its open spine which, along with some oth­er details, makes it spe­cial. The paper we select­ed is rem­i­nis­cent of tobac­co leaves with its tex­ture. With details like this we suc­cess­ful­ly sat­is­fied the client, and the tar­get audience.
