CLIENT

The Man­date Press is is a mod­ern, design-dri­ven let­ter­press oper­a­tion based in Salt Lake City, Utah print­ing for local, nation­al, and inter­na­tion­al clients.

APPROACH

This was a col­lab­o­ra­tion with artist/illustrator Dan Christof­fer­son. The artist drew a por­trait of John May­er in his sig­na­ture style.

We took advantage of the textured coverage from printing a large flood of color with letterpress. We also utilized overprinting for details on the face in the portrait.
