Hotels

In general we have never procured room blocks for our conference as none of our venues over the years have been affiliated with a hotel but we are often able to secure some modest discounts with hotels nearby. Unfortunately this year there are no discounts to offer. Demand for rooms in Austin is super high and hotels are still understaffed while also trying to make up for two years of lackluster business so they have no incentive to offer any kind of discounts.

In terms of recommendations, any hotel in Downtown Austin or in the South Congress area will put you within striking distance of the venue and a short pedicab ride away (yes, this is a thing). Newer (and slightly cheaper) hotels in East Austin are also a good option and a short Uber/Lyft ride away.

Airbnbs in South and East Austin are also a good idea. North and West listings will probably be cheaper but it can be a long drive with traffic coming into downtown.
