Founded in 1997 in Austin, TX, Alamo Drafthouse is a small chain of movie theaters across Texas. The Austin locations are notorious for their off-kilter showings and events, which include Rocky Horror Show sing-a-longs or Terror Tuesdays, as well as hosting not only Air Guitar contests but Air Sex contests. The redesign was done by Austin-based Guerrilla Suit.

Nostrand Park is “a virtual-placemaking organization committed to fostering continued arts, community and commercial development in Crown Heights [Brooklyn].” Designed pro-bono by WireMedia, the project was part of DesigNYC that pairs designers with non-profits for different ranges of projects.
Founded in 1968 and based in Fountain Valley, CA, Wamco provides optical solutions — as in it puts light where there was none before — for things like keyboard and panels, laptops and PDAs, and ground vehicle instrumentation.
