Clean Energy Future is an initiative by the Australian Government as “a long term plan to reshape our economy, cut carbon pollution, drive innovation, and help avoid the increased costs of delaying action on climate change.” A couple of detail images of the logo below (or after the jump).
Established in 1999, Zaatar w Zeit — or “Thyme and Olive Oil Mix” — is a fast food chain in Lebanon, Kuwait and the Emirates. New logo has been designed by Pearlfisher, with this to say about it: “The new logo is a distinctive, modern marque that provides a more literal and graphic expression by creating a simple link between the thyme and the oil, the leaf and the droplet, and forms a distinctive ‘Z’ within the negative space.”
Skyrush will be the newest ride opening in 2012 at Hersheypark in Hershey, PA. “After climbing 200 feet into the air, you’ll touch the sky before flying downhill at 75mph in the country’s first winged seat coaster train.” More gory details about the ride here. Located to the Northwest of Africa, the Canary Islands are a set of Spanish islands with beautiful national parks. The result of a contest, the new logo for Parques Nacionales de Canarias has been designed by Sevilla, Spain-based Pedro Olivares. A PDF with more applications of the logo can be found here.

Established in 1990, the Bicycle Transportation Alliance (BTA) is a “non-profit membership organization working to promote bicycling and improve bicycling conditions in Oregon and SW Washington”, most popularly in the bike-loving city of Portland. NBC Sports, a major “segment” of the programming at NBC, is now also its own channel as NBCUniversal has announced the transformation of the old Versus channel into the NBC Sports Network, which will share the look with the segment on NBC. More details here.

Established in 1903, the Seattle Symphony is now in its 109th season. With the arrival of a new music director, they have introduced a new logo, designed by local design firm PhinneyBischoff, that “[intends] to exemplify the Northwest’s past, present and future aptitude for innovation, and reflect an organization that advances music in new and inventive ways.” Press release here.

Established in the early 1950s and turned Tex-Mex in 1992, Maudie’s is one of the most popular restaurants in Austin, TX with six locations throughout. After designing the look of its newest location as a standalone application, Maudie’s decided to expand the look to all locations. Designed by local Pentagram partner DJ Stout. Full identity here.
