Dexia Group, a financial institution in Belgium that had a bad 2011, recently announced that its consumer banking operations purchased by the Belgian federal government would be relaunched as Belfius. Story, in French, here. The new logo was designed by Brussels-based Hoet&Hoet.
Established in 1992, Panchero’s Mexican Grill is a fast-casual Tex-Mex restaurant chain with 50 locations across the U.S. with plans to open 65 new franchises by end of 2013. All those potential burritos — rolled with tortillas handmade on the spot — need to attract franchisers so a new identity has been designed by Madiscon, WI-based Planet Propaganda. More story here. Established in 2009, GoPago is a merchant service that allows businesses and customers to complete purchases using their smartphone only, no credit cards needed. GoPago has made news for getting JPMorgan Chase to fund it handsomely. A new logo and name change from Pago to GoPago was introduced in February.
