Winners will be announced on or before Friday, June 27.
Follow them. Pretty please.
Projects must have been produced between January 2013 and June 2014 in a minimum quantity of 50.
Entries from every country are eligible.
Entries must be postmarked by Friday, June 13, 2014 and delivered no later than Monday, June 16, 2014. Please note that June 13 is the absolute final deadline; no extensions will be given.
All entries are to be judged anonymously so no references to the designer or design firm can be made on the online submission form.
When preparing entries for physical submission do not add any form of identification of the submitting designer or design firm. If your name is printed on the project itself because it is a self-promotion or because your client gave you a place for credit do not worry about covering it up, it is okay to enter it as is.
The same project can be submitted for judging in different categories, i.e., a project may be more enticing to judges as a Basic Identity Application than as a standalone Logo — or it may be selected in both.
Separate entry form and fee apply for each category entered.
Entry information can only be completed online. Labels generated by our system are the only acceptable method for providing entry information. Do not send your own formatted information.
All information provided must be in English.
Entry materials that are in languages other than English must include a brief English translation.
You must mail actual samples. Photographs or renderings of the project are not acceptable.
Materials submitted will not be returned.
UnderConsideration is not responsible for materials that do not arrive. Paid fees are non-refundable.
Packages must be delivered prepaid. Non-U.S. contestants please mark your packages “Printed Matter for contest entry. No commercial value.” Any customs fees for international shipments will be charged back to the entrant.
All winning entries will be published in the annual book and a free-access website.
Winning entrants must provide digital files for reproduction. UnderConsideration will not photograph any entrant material.
Only winning entrants will be notified shortly after judging is complete, currently scheduled for June 20, 2014.
No cash awards are given out to winners.
Best of Show, Radical Production, and Sustainability winners will each receive 4 free tickets to the 2014 Brand New Conference. All Best of Category and Judges' Picks will receive each 2 free tickets. Travel or accommodations are not included.
A printed certificate will be provided for each winning entry.
If applicable, special awards for Best of Show, Radical Production, and Sustainability will be selected and up to five Judges’ Picks will be awarded.
By entering the FPO Awards you grant UnderConsideration permission to show the work(s) in exhibitions and publish it/them in the annual book and other print, online, or digital publications.
Entrants affirm that the materials and their publications will not infringe upon any personal, property or intellectual rights (i.e., copyright, trademark, and patent) of others and that all information is accurate and hold UnderConsideration harmless from any action resulting from this entry material and information.
