Pies ‘n’ Thighs

Located at the shadow of the Williamsburg Bridge in Brooklyn, this small spot serves fried chicken and pies. If that doesn’t sound awesome enough then the menu seals the deal. “The design inspiration,” explains Derick, “came from character trademarks, like the McDonaldland characters, Frito Bandito, and Bob’s Big Boy, and vintage hand drawn menus.” To give it an even more off-the-beaten-path aesthetic he found a “great sloppy offset printer to give it that authentic feel.” Anything that features a log illustration always gets my vote. I don't love fried chicken and I love this fried chicken! I also love their shirts.
Just a heads up they have since updated their menu with some changes to the menu layout and design. Plus a bump in pricing ;-(
