Hotels
Due to the Music City Food + Wine Festival that will take place Sep. 17 – 18 in Nashville we were not able to secure room blocks as most hotels downtown demanded a very large room block commitment. In every past conference we have had to release the rooms we had blocked with hotels as we never met our quota so we did not take the financial risk of blocking any rooms this time. Unfortunately a lot of hotels are getting fully booked, so here are some suggestions of hotels we looked at that are close by as well as some alternate suggestions.
Very close to venue
Hilton Nashville Downtown
Omni
Union Station (Marriot)
Hermitage Hotel
Indigo
Renaissance Nashville Hotel
Not-so-close on the West End (30 minute-walk, 10-minute bike, 8-minute Uber)
Aloft
Hutton Hotel
The 404 Hotel
Try other hotels in this area — if they are close to Broadway, it's a straight shot down to the venue on car or bike.
Close-ish East Nashville (30 minute-walk, 10-minute bike, 8-minute Uber)
Clarion Hotel Nashville Downtown
Airbnb-it in East Nashville (10-minute Uber)
Consider Airbnb entire home/apartments or private rooms in East Nashville. It's a short Uber ride and the neighborhood is great.
Bicycling
Nashville has a great bike sharing service called B-cycle that you can consider if you want to stay in hotels outside downtown. It's fairly painless to use as a newcomer (requires 24-hour rental fee of $5 plus usage if you are not a member but every first hour of use is free.)
Uber is also very active in Nashville, so that's always an option too.
