With the deadline of the poster contest fast approaching (next Monday, September 20th) here are some more — twenty-one to be exact — submissions to get your mouse squeaking, if you know what I mean. There is a whole weekend ahead that you can devote solely to the poster contest; forget about your family, friends, NFL Sunday and lemonade on the porch and design a poster that can beat the rest. I dare you. No. I double-dare you.
If you sent a poster and it is not uploaded, please let me know, there is a good chance I might have overlooked it with all the changes at Speak Up headquarters. Also, check your e-mail to see if I have asked you to make changes or fix something. And lastly: please, please, please follow the instructions on the template, I have had to fiddle with many of the submissions.
And just a few more rules:
— You can’t use screens of solid colors. All colors must be used at a 100%. As well, transparency values in Illustrator should remain at 100%.
— You can’t use a quote where somebody is quoting some other person. So if somebody starts a sentence with “As Paul Rand once said…” you can’t use that.
— Please stay within the designated artwork area.
Thanks!
Wonderful to see so many new entries. A great showing of posters.
