I have noticed that whenever there is a post made involving music and design, most readers’ interests are piqued.
To date, we have discussed almost everything, from…
- Our first hip-hop moments… and when we fell in love with graphics ,
- Music’s influence on our design,
- Buying music online and the branding of these services,
- The music we listen to when we’re designing,
- CD versus LP jacket design,
- Favorite CD cover art,
- MTV’s influence on culture… and graphic design,
- VH1’s new logo, as well as
- Album cover art we find creatively inspiring.
Just when I thought it would be quite a while until one of the authors could post a music-related thread, I fell upon Meish.org’s challenging pop quiz for album design junkies, thanks to a recommendation over at “Not a Dollarshort.”
So if you have time, give it a looksee.
And, if you want, throw up your own favorite with the text removed to see if your Speak Up peers can recognize what your most beloved album is.
That's nifty. Of those that I recognize, I think I like most of them without the artist name and album title; they're interesting images on their own.
And I don't know whether it's sad that.. well, it is sad, but I don't know how sad it is that I called out the Take That CD. (sigh)
