Speak Up milestone:
We have just hit 10,000 comments! Well, we are actually now on 10,001.
How cool is that? Pretty damn cool if you ask me.
So I must be 10,003.
Is that a prime number???
Maybe I'm the only designer (or wannabe designer) who has a math background and worries about such things.

On Oct.07.2003 at 01:00 PMI always thought your back end was not your best feature. I mean, it works okay and all, but I always thought it could use a little work. It doesn't swish the way it used to. Maybe it's getting bloated with 10G's worth of comments. The only thing worse than a bloated back end is no back end, as I realized this morning.

For your info 10,000 is not a prime number although 9973, 10007, 10009, 10037, 10061, 10067, 10069 are primes. So these could become nice milestones (they are equally good than 10,000 aren't they?)

I just came across this site about a week ago, following a link off of the Hillman Curtis site, and I must say I'm glad I found you guys. I've always loved graphic design and art, although I'm not a professionally trained designer. I love getting to hear about things from your point of view, and reading stories, advice, and discussions that I've never come across elsewhere. So, thanks for this site and this oppportunity you've given me to rub shoulders with a bunch of real designers (as opposed toe the fake variety, like me ;)
