As most of you have seen, every now and then I have typos in my posts or in some other parts of my web site. There is no excuse, but it happens. Having typos in a web site doesn’t seem as tragic (embarrassing yes) as having one in a printed piece, where a reprint can cost you in the thousands of dollars, compared to the $0.00 it takes to fix a web page and upload it.
So the question is: is proof reading less of a priority in web than print?
It shouldn’t be, but the fact that you can make a change immediately makes it an easy step to overlook. You don’t hear many horror stories about typos on the web either, where in print people can lose their job, and their dignity, over a typo.
Loose as in like shaken loose from a job or actually lose a job? I had to point that one out just because of the post topic. HEHEHE!
Sorry Armin.
