When I wrote about Typographica I mentioned Patrick King (aka PK), but it seems to me that it was not enough.
Personally I would describe his style, work (or whatever you want to call it) as smart/badass/cool/intelligent. Not only is it a pleasure to look at and explore, but it actually has meaning.
And if you want to get a couple of laughs make sure you read some of his entries in Bitch.
So refreshing.

Interesting. Is RSVP necessary? what type of event is it? There is also like a Sappi annual report show that same night. Oh and more thing, chank is having an opening for some of his art. Lots of things going on this thursday.

i'm not sure about rsvp'ing. the number listed for info is 312 285 6200. this seems to be associated with their portfolio class. it's all very vague. but chester and i will probably go out for drinks afterwards (since we're both raging alcoholics). so that should be nice, even if the panel's a wash.

Yes, I have developed an XML Javascript Applet (if that even exists) that takes any and all kudos given to me and turns them into mustaches.

as a side note, chester (of thirstype) and i will be on a panel discussion this thursday (9/26) at the international academy of design and technology on state street, 6PMish. i'm not what we'll be discussing, but typography seems fairly certain.
oh, and if anyone's open to it, i'd really like a job as well. really. mama needs to pay the rent.
