The description alone for this is worth a Quip: “Unfamous Pirates from Arrr! to Z is a book-in-progress about the most fearsome and fumbling swashbucklers to ever fade into complete obscurity. Their tales of mischief, misadventure, and mismanagement are collected here to amuse and horrify the ages. All ages.” By James Abercrombie and Karla Jean Davis. Shown: Captain Confetti.

This looks interesting: DxB (Design Exchange Boston, October 9-13, 2013) is a week of events and experiences celebrating the impact of design. Their goal is to explore the ideas, work, and strategies currently shaping our culture; including AIGA, AIA, IIDA, ASID, DMB, BSA, IFDA, IDSA, SEGD, IxDA. OMFG!
