Never expected KFC to be a source of something like this but props to them: Bucket covers with lovely illustrations and laser-cut details so that a smartphone can be placed inside and, through an app, the flashlight brings the bucket to life.

This is the opposite of motion capture: motion detection or, more specifically, human pose detection software that can derive the basic framework of what bodies in existing film footage are doing. That they used the Ministry of Silly Walks as a proof of concept makes this all the more awesome.
