2D Design Artist in Residence Elliot Earls challenges Cranbrook Art Academy’s architecture students to design and build a summer design studio in northern Michigan. Cost overruns and scheduling presented problems, but the final result was the “complete and untainted vision” of the original design.

Crowdsourcing ethics aside, if I were a lawyer at Visa, Coca-Cola, Jaguar, Nike, Mitsubishi, MacDonalds, Calvin Klein, Harley Davidson, Starbucks, KFC, Johnnie Walker, YouTube or Skype, I would write a strongly worded letter to @99designs for false advertising.
