Crazy: Less than 40 years ago was the last day The New York Times was printed using hot metal typesetting… it’s not that long ago yet the production method is archaic.

John Berger, art critic and writer, has died at 90. Berger created the four-part BBC television series Ways of Seeing (1972), which was then adapted into a book of the same name.
