The envelope for the Oscards gets a makeover, going from plain white to “iridescent gold paper watermarked with little images of Oscar. It’s lined with shiny red paper embossed with gold Oscars.”

Unveiled at this week’s Toy Fair in New York, Monopoly ditches the dice, paper money and designated banker in favor of an ominous all-seeing computer tower. Is this the destruction of a classic design or a timely update? Comments are open.
