With a scoop revealing that team lawyers have applied for a trademark of “Brooklyn New Yorkers” speculations have risen that it may be the name of the New Jersey Nets when they relocate to Brooklyn. Here is an artist’s rendering of the potential logo, mascot, and uniforms. “Mesh shorts will be replaced with cut off jean shorts and the uniform tops feature flannel side panels and a breast pocket with American Spirits tucked in.”

Let’s Swap, a great new site that posts a featured limited edition item (a print, a book, a something designey) and then lets the designer of it swap as many as he or she wants for things that the readers propose via e-mail.
