The Euthanasia Coaster. Yes, you read that right. “A hypothetical euthanasia machine in the form of a roller coaster engineered to humanely — with elegance and euphoria — take the life of a human being.” Further, “Thanks to the marriage of the advanced cross-disciplinary research in aeronautics/space medicine, mechanical engineering, material technologies and, of course, gravity, the fatal journey is made pleasing, elegant and meaningful.” Kinda morbid, but also kinda fantastic.

Eastern Eggs is the latest initiative to raise funds for Japan. Organized by TBWA London, various illustrators and artists have customized wooden eggs with their work. Eggs are printed using the Egg-Bot, “an open-source art robot that can draw on spherical or egg-shaped objects.” The awesome results at the link.
