In general we don’t procure room blocks for our conferences as none of our venues over the years have been affiliated with a hotel but we are often able to secure some modest discounts with hotels nearby — see below.
In terms of recommendations, any hotel in the Loop, Magnificent Mile, or Near West Side will put you within striking distance of the venue but, in Chicago, if you are near a train stop you can easily get to the venue, so the North and South sides are good to find more affordable Airbnb spots.
