Her team shapes Shedd’s visual brand across strategy, advertising, events, exhibits, and digital and retail products — work crafted not only to inspire and engage, but to spark compassion, curiosity and conservation for the aquatic animal world. Before Shedd, Liz built a wide-ranging career in culinary and educational publishing, public relations, and advertising. This eclectic background fuels her broad perspective on how design and storytelling connect with diverse audiences to create deep connections. Beyond the aquarium, Liz champions self-taught art as a member of the Board of Directors at Intuit Art Museum, collaborates with her husband through an independent design consultancy, and stays deeply engaged with culture, literature, and art.
