CLIENT

Napa Autoparts is an auto parts retail­er that has over 6,000 stores nationwide.


BRIEF

Our brief was to find a way to high­light Napa’s range of parts in a unique way. We answered the brief by com­bin­ing Napa’s most pop­u­lar parts with a part-a-day cal­en­dar. We designed the cal­en­dar to be rem­i­nis­cent of an era when mechan­ics were local and fill­ing sta­tions were on every oth­er corner.


APPROACH

Each day fea­tures a dif­fer­ent Napa part and the hol­i­days are marked with spe­cial treat­ments. Print­ed in only two col­ors, the cal­en­dar embraces the DIY aes­thet­ic that every mechan­ic has. The cal­en­dars were dis­trib­uted to all Napa retail­ers through­out the Unit­ed States.

PRODUCTION LESSONS

Designing, proofing, and printing a 369-page calendar in under two weeks is a huge undertaking. Managing time effieciently and with focus is the biggest challenge.
