APPROACH

For our annu­al weath­er chart we exam­ined the glob­al weath­er data mea­sured by ±30,000 weath­er sta­tions over the past 50 years. The total of 736,995,534 glob­al mea­sure­ments were gath­ered by the Nation­al Cli­mat­ic Data Cen­ter. Among oth­er things, we found Dji­bouti, locat­ed in East Africa, to be the hottest coun­try in the world with an aver­age tem­per­a­ture of 30.4°C / 86.8°F. The wettest coun­try in the world is French Guyana with an aver­age rain­fall of 6.6 mm per day. The world­wide aver­age of these weath­er ele­ments over the past 50 years were 10.9°C / 51.7°F.
