Red thread, hand-stitched—contrast, tactility, human touch. Just a few of the qualities that come with taking the extra time that manual binding can bring to a project. Granted not an easy thing to do in larger print runs, but always beautiful.

Intuition: Behind the Scenes is an exploration of the senses. The art installations were created with hair and found materials.A hand sewn, behind the scenes book was made to document the two month process from ideation to execution of the project.
Production Lesson(s)
When hand stitching, make sure you have a long sturdy needle. I broke three dollar-store ones before I learnt my lesson.
