Risography is a finicky technique that can be truly enhancing on the right project. This swatch book would be a very hand tool to have, showing you what kind of printing to expect while also inspiring you to test the limits of your risograph comfort by providing a few more visuals.

Risolve Studio's 2017 Risograph Printing Swatch Book is a helpful tool for designers, artists, and businesses. Printed on heavy card stock, this swatch book is a fantastic reference for any future Riso printed project. The fluorescent Riso colors are impossible to show through a digital display, being able to see the colors in person is critical. This swatch book also functions as an overprint sampling. 8 of the most popular colors are overprinted at 50% to show the different color combinations that can be made through this technique.Production Lesson(s)
The Riso prints one color at a time, producing a swatch book with 12 colors is very time consuming. When creating overprinting swatches that means running the same page through the printer multiple times. This can result in mis-registration and tire marks. The final outcome is definitely worth the time it takes.
