To celebrate our 13th year in business, Reactor Design Studio created this tactile and playful gift to send/deliver to clients to convey our gratitude for their business in 2016. The overarching goal of the project was to reach out to our contacts and solidify our existing relationships. To celebrate our 13th year in business, we wanted to play on the notoriously unlucky number by giving our clients a box of "good fortune" to get them through the year.To highlight the theme, the packaging is designed like a takeout box and contains one of three "lucky charms" including a rabbit’s foot, plantable four-leaf clover seeds, or a mini horse shoe. Each box also contains a lottery ticket complete with a lucky penny to scratch it and an orange fortune cookie containing a variety of custom fortunes.
Also included in the campaign was a special holiday card plus invitation to our annual Halloween party.
Production Lesson(s)
A lot of companies tend to give client gifts around Christmas and New Year's, but since we live and breathe orange, we like to celebrate around Halloween. We loved hand-delivering these good fortune boxes to our clients, and especially seeing their faces when they opened them and immediately started scratching off the lottery tickets!
