There is great contrast between the geometric color blocks in the background and the subtle texture visible from the binding in this book that showcases highly stylized photography and top quality printing.
Project Description
Max wanted to create a promotional piece that best highlighted his recent work. Since we were doing a smaller run we were able to experiment with form, papers and binding. Each layer of the book is a different paper stock and texture. We utilized gold foil on the stipple textured paper on the cover to elevate the piece, and the book is stitch bound with pink thread. The book was finished with a clear, custom printed sleeve.Production Lesson(s)
Subtle elements like paper textures can go a long way.
