A blank journal is prime for experimentation and exploration, no matter your medium or your content. MANA took the essence of a blank journal and used it as they explored and experimented with creating it, making sure to avoid the obvious and tried-and-true methods.

Project Description
Our design brief was to create a simplistic holiday gift for our clients and art partners with beautiful complimentary design elements. This year, we chose to contrast a traditional material with a modern printing process and created the herringbone pattern based on geometry of the MANA Neutraface M.Production Lesson(s)
We knew that we wanted to work with leather as a material, but wanted to experiment outside of the traditional leather-stamping process. After we learned through prototyping that laser-cutting had a tendency to burn the material, we reached to Premiere Press who suggested the heated blind-deboss, which we were thrilled with.
