Beautiful photographs of Tokyo as captured by a first-time-visitor with a great sensibility for color and composition. The book itself allows the pictures to take center stage, subtly supporting them through pacing and colored backgrounds.
Project Description
MOMO TOKYO follows young photographer Parker Woods on a two-week trip through Tokyo, Japan. Documenting a journey of over a hundred walking miles, Woods contextualizes his first encounter with Japanese culture by incorporating a single peach-colored (MOMO in Japanese) backdrop into every image. MOMO TOKYO provides a clear vision of a well known city through the sharp gaze of a talented emerging photographer.Production Lesson(s)
