Project Description

Invitation package and thank you note cards for my wedding in New Orleans. In addition to the invite, I created a guidebook for attendees that gave a map of the French Quarter, places of interest, and an itinerary for the weekend.

Production Lesson(s)

The big challenge here was making the historical images legible within the constraints of letterpress printing. This was especially true for the invitation, which had a second color for the text overprint. If I had to do it over, I might look to use less complex imagery to ensure the depth of detail translated a little better to the production method. ”
