Project Description
The goal for these wedding invitations was to come up with a design that felt authentic to my husband and I, while also having a rustic Palm Springs desert vibe that reflected our venue. The biggest challenge to myself was to, unlike most wedding materials in the industry, make sure they felt as gender neutral as possible.The minimal san serif type mixed with bold full bleed hand lettering felt like the perfect balance of the two of us. The restricted color palette, brought sophistication and gender neutrality. The cacti illustrations cue 'desert' and bring a hand crafted touch. And the fill in the blank room card made them feel personal.
Production Lesson(s)
When printing a reversed out graphic, next time, I would make the negative spaces larger to allow for more saturated ink coverage.
