Project Description
We were asked to create a holiday invite for a party with a lot of style, glitz, and glamor. This is a super chic, dress to the nines and bring it kind of party and we needed an invite that was going to set the tone for that!We felt a mirrored acrylic invite would be perfect for the look and feel of the event. It's a silver mirror backing with the design engraved out of the back (this gives it the reflective look vs just using a clear acrylic). We wanted to give the guests the wow factor when they opened the box. Using the mirror looks was the first decision, but also wanted to die-cut the shape so the invite had a lot more character.
The invite mailed in a while box with a wrap around label and the boxes were filed with a superfine slate grey paper shred.
Production Lesson(s)
When working with acrylic and giving it a mirrored looked very fine details and fonts are hard to show up... as it is engraved out of the back.
