Project Description
For our client, Appleton Coated, we created the Curious About Print: Matter promotional book. Showcasing the playful potential of Curious Matter, Metallics, Skin and Touch, Curious About Print: Matter is the fourth in a series of inspirational and educational guidebooks. The book's design showcases four different Curious grades in a visual mashup of colors, textures, and images. It features a distinctive binding allowing the viewer to mix-and-match images and allow intriguing combinations and comparisons.Production Lesson(s)
One of the primary goals of the project was to showcase a range of different paper types and print techniques. For this reason our team had to be incredibly detailed in our file organization and setup, as well as maintain communication with the printer for each step of the design process, to ensure the project's success.
