Most of Star Wars’ officially licensed merchandise looks exactly like you would expect it to look: from a galaxy far away. Not Ty Mattson’s print series, which looks as if it came from our own backyard and should please that sweet demographic spot where Star Wars and Mid-century modern meet. There are three posters for each of the original three episodes, depicting some of the most memorable moments, from the lively regulars at the Cantina to the toothy Sarlacc Pit.
Prints are available individually in 18-by-24-inch posters or smaller 8-by-10-inch versions but, of course, you want the whole set in either size.

Project Description
Graphic designer and Star Wars fan, Ty Mattson has created a series of 9 Star Wars-inspired art prints. The poster series is officially licensed by Lucasfilm and celebrates the original Star Wars trilogy. The poster series combines Ty's inspiration of mid-century modern design with his lifelong passion for the Star Wars franchise. The posters are screen printed on 100lb French Paper and are available in two sizes: individual 18-by-24-inch prints which are signed and numbered by the artist, and in sets of smaller 8-by-10-inch prints.Production Lesson(s)
Working with Dan at Vahalla made everything go really smooth. He is a designer, so he sees the craft of printing from that point of view. He's amazing. Everything came back looking exactly like I wanted it to.
