Originally created as a 3-by-4-feet hand carved linocut steamroller print for the 2012 SVC Wayzgoose, demand from friends and clients led us to create a version of this sentiment that was more approachable to be hung in the house or shop.Production Lesson(s)
Sure everything is easy if you don't know what you're doing, but once you hone your skills as craft person, we realize just what we got ourselves into. Be it silkscreen, offset, letterpress, or digital etc the printing process has demands. We are constantly reminded that the equipment is only as good as operator. Once you think you're in the clear you're in trouble, but if you stay in tune and become apart of the mix, what beauty can happen. Every once in a while it's easy and nothing goes wrong.
