Project Description
The brief was to create an interesting placard that sends an engaging and important message through the song “We Are The World” for a community sing-a-long event held in the evening. The approach was simple, modernist typography accompanied by various colorful fluorescent paint sprayed on the edges of the placards.Production Lesson(s)
It is important for us to bring out the essence of the brief – to engage and also communicate with the community. Amidst the saturated usage of side edging, it is important we did the edging with a purpose. We are happy that these placards were well received amongst those who joined the event in the evening as the message got through to them in a succinct and engaging way, with the sides glowing as the lights dimmed down for the concert.
