Official poster for the Fall 2014 Steve Gunn's European tour. For the launch of his new record Way Out Weather, I've illustrated this gigantic storm that almost swallows the entire sky around it. It's about this really powerful god-like entity, imposing its will and bending everything and everyone around it. It's about the drama of change.Production Lesson(s)
When you hand draw something with so much detail, you need to keep in mind the technical restrictions that you will face on production. Some of these really fine dots will disappear in the mesh. Know the technique you are using before hand.
