Fed up with the onslaught of trashy modern internet communications, Mr. C.P. Pressman takes matters into his own hands. He lets his anger and biased opinions rip in an eccentric sternly-written complaint letter mailed to a select group of top graphic design industry professionals.Production Lesson(s)
Writing paper is still available in a cockle finish but today's cockle is different from yesterdays. This is likely due to changes in the manufacturing process.The white borders on photo prints from modern labs are not as wide as the old style 3/16" borders. The lab's settings or the image file needs to be adjusted for a wider border.
With the exception of offset web, no printing equipment is suited for standard newspaper newsprint stock. We tried offset litho and letterpress to print the newspaper article but neither worked. A digital copying machine was used in the end but the supplier might not be too happy to do it again.
Lightly tapping the handle of a rubber stamp with a hammer is a great way to mass produce good quality rubber stampings.
