This was a self-initiated art print created for a local upcoming vintage art market in Charlotte, NC. The goal of this art print was to capture the spirit of iconic road side marquee signs but still keep the piece simple and graphical in nature.Production Lesson(s)
Using yellow/gold ink over darker colors proved to be a bit difficult. I ended up playing around with this color quite a bit so it wasn't so translucent. Adding a tiny bit of white, metallic gold and some more opaque yellow to the process yellow helped without changing the color much.
