L’abricot’s Montreal inspired holiday print is nice but the fact that engraver Julien Boisseau banged out these linoleum plates in less than 8 hours is downright impressive.

Project Description
For our customers, as well as for selling in craft and design fairs, we made a collection of Christmas cards, inspired by our city (Montreal). The urban scene was drawn all at once and engraved by hand on linoleum plates. The two plates were printed on a Vandercook press then the prints were cut in four.Production Lesson(s)
We learned to mix our own colors, according to the Pantone chart and we learned that we must be very precise in order to obtain the right color (mostly when using black and transparent white).
