Project Description
Honor is a women's luxury brand that infuses the world of modern fashion with the nostalgia of an old-world atelier. By producing all of their clothes in Manhattan's historic garment district, Honor fulfills its goal of preserving and supporting local industry.In creating an invitation for their Fall/Winter 2014 runway show, High Tide envisioned a work that exemplified the collection's organic elegance. The invitation's front side features a mirrored gold foil debossed with the Honor logo, which contrasts beautifully with the rich walnut wood on the back side.
Production Lesson(s)
We used actual wood veneer for the back side of the invite. After mounting and duplexing the wood, it bows and warps a tiny bit. That was the only imperfection that I didn't foresee, everything else came out amazing.
