These holiday gifts reflect the quality, care, and attention to detail IMM Creative brings to their work every day. Local coffee and local whiskey labeled “rise” and “shine” are a winsome touch, as well as a nice nod to other Boulder businesses. The IMM team bottled, packaged, sealed, screen-printed, assembled, and numbered each package by hand then passed them off for the CEO to sign. A thoughtful and personal gift that friends and clients were surely glad to receive. — Duncan Robertson

Tommy Perez Holly Day Cards: Part Deux

Project Description

This holiday season we wanted our gift to reflect the quality, care and meticulous attention to detail we show each of our clients every day. So we decided to go with something different. Unexpected. And completely handmade. We also knew we wanted to highlight Boulder, so we started by partnering with local purveyors Boxcar Coffee and 303 Whiskey. We then bottled, packaged, sealed, screen printed and assembled each gift—completely by hand. The finishing touch was numbering each gift and having our CEO sign each individual box.

Production Lesson(s)

Creating something from scratch is always a fun ride. There were a lot of moving parts to this project, mainly regarding the bottling and packaging of the whiskey and coffee. We purchased almost every single piece from a separate vendor so researching, coordinating, and assembling all the needed supplies took up the majority of our time. All together we used ten different vendors so the knowledge gained from that experience will pay dividends in the future if we choose to do a similar project.

Oh, and screen printing in our Creative Director's garage in freezing temperatures was fun too.
